How Personalized Mugs Work

Personalized mugs use a live preview tool so you can enter the name and year before checkout. The preview step is important because that is what sends your saved design to production.

Quick steps

1. Choose your mug size: 11oz or 15oz.
2. Click Add Personalized Design.
3. Enter the year number or word exactly how you want it printed.
4. Enter the pet name for side one and side two. Use the same name twice if you want both sides to match.
5. Use the preview views to check the front, left, and right sides of the mug.
6. Click Continue and save the design before adding the mug to your cart.

What happens after you save

After saving your personalized design, the product page may not show your custom preview again. That is normal. In your cart, you will see a Personalization ID. That ID means your custom design was saved and attached to the mug for printing.

Before checkout

• Check spelling carefully. We print the text exactly as entered.
• Use short names so the design stays clean and easy to read.
• If the cart shows a Personalization ID, your design is saved.
• If you need to change the name, remove the saved design and personalize it again before checkout.

Need help?

If something looks off, contact us before placing the order. Once a personalized mug is sent to production, the design usually cannot be changed.
